Lodgings

Our lodgings for the night the only worries was who would be sleeping with Sid and Edd. Luckily it wasn't me. I was told they only evacuated once.

What we came for.

This is what we'd come for. To help Deon with the racer. It needed rubbing down and the arches filling.

Not bad!

Not a bad job.

It was in here, honest!

No 'meet' would be complete without a picture of Deon grinding something.

Cassy

Cassy attacking an old panel.

Slight alteration

Here's one of them. We had to cut the cage then twist the leg so the foot fitted.

Herald

Spud's Herald.

Wet again!

The weather was once again against us. It rained and snowed and the river through the middle of York was about 20 feet above it's proper level. It nearly came in our Indian restaurant in the evening.

All hands on deck!

They made a great job of the arches the only trouble was Deon hadn't put enough hardener in the mix and it never dried. He had to do it again.

I can't find the engine.

The engine was here Edd honest!

Welding lessons

John gave welding lessons to Cassy and me behind the car. If only he was on hand when I get home.

Rollcage

Deon's roll cage. We got it in with a few modifications.

That's handy!

The beauty of this roll cage is that it came with a Jaffa cake holder built in. They think of everything now days.

Evening out

The evening meal was a cultured affair with sophisticated conversation and intellectual discussion!
