My ticket to a day off! With this ticket I get a day off from gardening, digging and back ache.
Then I thought I'd try and get one of Paul behind me. And of course I waited until the 3 Westfields went by and got this good picture. (It was just luck, I didn't know they were there).
A view across the field. A bad one I'll grant you, I should've gone up the bank more. Sorry.
I think this was a kit, not entirely sure.
I took this picture for Ron at work. On Friday he said if he won the lottery he would buy a 6/80 Wolseley like the Police use to use.
I took this picture of the Hurricane flying. Okay I missed it! I think it went behind the tree. So I tried again.
I did this one for the blind people who couldn't see it in the other pictures. Okay I admit I took bloody loads but kept missing it. Lucky I wasn't a ack ack gunner in the war.
Here we have a De Havilland Dragon Rapide. Yes I had to look it up. If you saw this thing come back in to land you wouldn't have got in it!
Tony led the way and he started to take pictures of me as we went along. So I took some of him...fairs, fair.
The house. Once the home of Richard Shuttleworth who won the 1st Donnington Grand Prix in 1935. Because of his love of cars and planes, he built the airfield at Old Warden.
A nice Cresta.
The only 'hot rod' I saw. I've always like the 'pops', my Dad had 3 on the trot when I was little.
4 of the 6 Viva's at the show.
If you look closely you can see it. You're not looking! It's in the middle of the shot! It's your eyes not my camera work.
Sheep! Didn't think I'd be putting sheep on my web site. (I keep my personal sheep photos secret). It was a demonstration and I took it for my daughter. Okay the sheep on the left does look quite nice too!
And still using my vast knowledge of planes this is a yellow one!
