.30th November 2009....."SHW 'performed' to the highest possible acting standards and didn't put a wheel wrong", I was told on Monday morning. I'm thinking of enrolling her in Equity! No door sticking, no rust falling off when it shouldn't. I was given a program in commemoration of the day, some still photos and a DVD of the show. I then had to cover her up again for her trip home as it was chucking down again. The driver got the truck right up to the garage doors so she simply rolled off the truck into the garage. No pushing or anything. Great job. I slipped over on the nice new painted floor and hurt my arm and bum, but SHW is back safe.

.29th November 2009.....Spent some time in the garage today. The opposite side of the garage was also painted with a fresh coat of floor paint and that was dry so DHR went back in her usual spot. It was raining hard outside and I didn't want her out in it to long. I then set about making sure SHW's side of the garage was how I wanted it to be before she comes back tomorrow. I even tied the engine hoist up against the wall so it didn't keep falling over. Next I started clearing the bench a bit at a time and putting away all the tools I had left out whilst rushing SHW into service. The final thing was to paint the area to the door. After that I couldn't get back in so that was that.

.27th November 2009.....While my latest super star has been away, it gave me chance to finish the garage floor under her and paint it. I could also tidy that side of the garage. So far I've put down the floor leveling compound and painted two coats of floor paint on it. I'd never had chance to put the last bag of compound down before I wheeled her in, so good job done! I've also had another go at SHW's door handle in the theatre so hopefully she'll be okay on her next two performances tomorrow.

.26th November 2009.....Well she stole the show! She got a standing ovation for 5 minutes and was showered in flowers. The orders for show DVD's has out striped all previous records and my phone hasn't stopped ringing with agents trying to book her. Now for the truth.....the driver’s door stuck once when they tried to get in, but apart from that she didn't let herself down. And that phopar really wasn't her fault either. I was told that the drivers door had to remain closed and that the script called for the door to be tried, but wouldn't open after the crash, so we cable tried the door shut and I didn't connect the door mechanism up. The director, (bloody demanding these directors), changed the script with one day to go and wanted the door to open. As I didn't have time to connect up the interior lock mechanism, I just got the exterior door handle to work. I'd used an old handle because I had been told it's not to be opened. It worked okay but was a little....temperamental at times. Still, alls well that ends well.

23rd November 2009.....Well I've been absent without leave for a few weeks now, working on my secret Viva project. I think it's a Viva "first" and the talk of the West End. Tickets are exchanging hands on the black market for over £500 a ticket. I myself have been asked to go to Australia to go on, "I'm a celebrity get me out of here", to replace Jordan. I turned down the offer as the climate could ruin my skin. To see what it was click here.
