16th July 2009.....Very rushed, long story but just managed to get a short Billing report on here. I will do a better report with more pictures later. Click here for report.

8th July 2009.....The exhaust is back on and I can hear no leaks. Well not over the loud exhaust anyway! I had to modify the back hanging bracket that the exhaust centre made last week but it's all on and secure. (Till I hit the first bump). I also managed to put another two clips on the fuel pipe to help keep it well away from the exhaust while I was at it. I even had time to start getting some of the camping stuff down from the garage loft before I had to go in. (I was looking after Alex officially last night). Do you know what she said to me last night! Joanne had left instructions that when Alex's gets back from guides, she could have some more rice pudding but that was it. No more sweets etc. Alex comes in, "I'm hungry". "Have some rice pudding" I say. She does. Then she says "can I have a chocolate biscuit". I stand firm, "no" I say. She keeps on till I give in. Then as she goes upstairs munching away on her biscuit she shouts out, "your easier than Mum". There will be no more updates until after Billing, I hope to see you all there. Bring an umbrella!

4th July 2009.....I know this is out of order but I forgot. On Saturday I cut the bottom off the Outlaws flag pole holder. It was much to long and without the use of a numatic pile driver we couldn't get it in the ground. So I've now welded two bits of angle iron together then welded that to the base after cutting four notches in the scaffold pole. It's all to complicated to explain, you'll all have to come and have a look at Billing. My only concern now is that the end is to sharp. I made it very pointy to help it go into hard ground, but I may have over done it.

7th July 2009.....My intention was to put the exhaust back on tonight until I remembered that I was picking Edd up from Luton airport and taking him back to the barn...where he belongs! He arrives on time I didn't. The M1 was stationary. I'd put four wheels in the estate and a pair of hubs that he needed and dropped them off at the barn in Thame. We got a call from Flod while we were there asking if we wanted chilli con carni on Friday night...he's getting more adventurous in his old age! We shuffled the cars about to make it easier for him tomorrow. All he now needs to do is to fix the V6, (ermintrude) and get her MOT'd ready for Friday. I have said if he can't get her done in time he can use the estate because David, (my boy), couldn't get insured for her.

6th July 2009.....Well after telling Spot I wouldn't do anything to DHR in case I mess up and can't get her to Billing on Friday I decide to take no notice of him and replace the two exhaust clamps that are touching the floor and outrigger. I have some stainless band type clamps which should allow more clearance. I take the old ones off, no problem, but the new one have to slip over the end of the pipe. So I try and remove the middle section but this won't come off until the back section is off. Bugger! At the moment I have all the exhaust laying on the garage floor apart from the manifold.
