JRO 155G

Edd is also very well known in the Viva world for his tact and diplomacy. He always seems to have a lot of cars at any given time. He has use of a barn in Thame which has all sorts of spares hidden about and he is always willing to help you out. The currency for his help, or for any spares he has is normally conducted in naan bread and curry. He has an engine which I would sell my wife and children for but I won't reveal what it is here. He is a big bugger who has hollow legs when it comes to food or beer.

JRO, otherwise known as Ermintrude, has a V6 with triple downdraught carbs on her. She is very quick. Edd spends hours and hours polishing and cleaning her!!!! She originally had a 3 litre V6 Essex, then a 2.8 V6 and finally its 2.9. It’s a cologne 2.9 V6 from a sierra 4*4. It has a very fast road cam and ported and flowed heads and a free flow exhaust system. (Edd told me all this).

This is an HC Edd bought mainly for the Jaguar rear axle. It has a Rover V8 I believe and is an excellant fit in the engine bay.

This one Edd sold recently to Flod for four naan breads and a pot of mango chutney I think. It has a Fiat 1600 engine in it. I had a look at this one when I was after a second car to 'hot rod'. The body looked okay to my untrained eye and quite a bit of work had already been done on her. It's moved on again to John Hill I believe.

Edd's convertable is being worked on as and when time permits. It needs re-building from the ground up, as you may have guessed from the picture. New metal and stronger metal is replacing all Crayford's original strenghening. A suprise in the engine department is a probabilty.
