One window winder cleaned one not touched.
I really did clean and paint everything. The spring tops were not the original ones as they had disintegrated.
I used deox C even on nuts and bolts to remove rust. It did work but some things needed to be soaked for days.
A classic demonstration, I will apply for a patent, if the thread goes Ill lose half my head.
Once painted and ready I wrapped the rear axle in a sheet.
After removing the core plugs I could see the gaps between the cylinders had closed with rust. I cleaned all these out using an airline.
After a good clean the valves go back in. The engineering company wouldn't convert the head to un-leaded as the big valves were to close to the edge.

This is how detail my restore was everything was stripped including the locks.
