The offside rear arch from in the car. I hadn't touched this at all, it's how it was.
Nearside inner wing in a lovely shade of gold. Why!
Old tank out early days. Boot pan wasn't to bad.
Daves spare wheel well. I went to buy this from Dave which is when I decided he would re-build DHR for me.
My first attempt at paint stripping. I did this using fibre discs which were great but expensive.
After rubbing down I used red primer. I then bought some white etch primer so rubbed down again and primed with that.
I stipped the paint a panel at a time, then gave it 2 coats of primer.

The rear wheel arches were the worst part of the car. At this stage I wasn't sure if this could be done.
Offside inner wing before. What a mess.
The non existant spare wheel well. There was nothing there at all.
My unusual front anti roll bar. This runs along the front under the radiator and connects to the top of the wishbone. I have negative camber.
Rear quarter. down to bare metal.
My finished etch primed rear. Not to bad for a beginner.
The roof in red primer but it had to come off again.
