We're off! Spot and I drove up together. He took the lead but then realised he didn't know the way so I took over.
We manage to get the new VD tent up, but I broke two of the clips and got the 'mick' taken out of me.
Saturday morning and we woke at 6 to find some of the stand un-useable.
Luckily the Victor boys and girls behind us didn't want some of their space, so agreed we could move up a little. Thank you.
Deon with both 'jaffa's'.
Saturday lunchtime and the BBQ got fired up. Steve Walton brought along a nice big one for all to use.
My daughter Vikki and her boyfriend Ryan came along this year for the first time. Both enjoyed themselves. Hannah's in the background feeding Kara.
The stand beginning to fill up.
He even has a proper screw in tow hook fitting on the front, like modern cars.
We had 3 HB V8's, 1 HA zetec turbo, 1 HC pinto, 2 HB pinto's and a small block chevy CF van in the modified group.
I forgot to take pictures on Sunday and we ended up with even more cars.
Saturday nights alright for drinking!
We even drank wine this year after the Outlaws AGM which was all over in 10 minutes.
He's gone.
They ended up missing only 3 cars, a Kadett B, a Sintra and a Meriva. 62 cars on the show stand in total. A great effort.
Alex got her head in the way of this one.
I know I shouldn't have put this in because I will get hammered for it, but I did have some fun! She made me go with her, honest!

We arrived and so did the rain and we ended up putting the tents up in the pouring rain. It just didn't stop.
Stevie arrived and decided to stay over late in the evening, so we put his tent up in the rain and the dark.
The Somme. (Well not quite, it was a bit wet).
With the sun now out, the flags went up. I pegged the pole down only to find out later that the pole snapped. I got the 'mick' taken again.
This was taken early Saturday before people started to arrive.
Steve burning the sausages.
Edd arrives Saturday afternoon from Germany. A long way to come for a car show. He has to be back at work Monday afternoon.
Gary arrives in his head turning V8. A lovely job and an attention to detail.
It certainly got people's attention.
The stand from the front on Saturday.
Kara insisted on driving DHR!
Things got a bit silly by this stage.
Edd begins to sag!
Sunday and the weather changes for the better. Then an attempt at getting every model type on a stand since GM bought Vauxhall.
The 'oldies'. I wish I owned one of these. I love the character.
And even DHR got on the show stand. This caused me grief with the boys.
But this one was too scary for me so Alex went on her own..
